Guess Amount of Money in Jar and Win one of my CamoTek-Shafts :mds: (38 replies)

Alrighty I thought it was time for all of us to gear up for the up coming DIV hunt in October....
I will give away one of my Shafts that I designed, the one you see here doesn't have the Camo Finish, but if you can imagine this in Digital Camo, old Style Army Camo or Rattle Snake pattern all over this Aluminum Shaft plus a better built and lighter weight than the Anderson Shaft then this shaft can be yours if you guess the total amount of money in my change jar.

Only people that will be going to the up coming DIV in October can participate, the winner will recieve the shaft at the thursday night meeting.

This CamoTek-Shaft as you can see is designed for the Garrett Infinium . I'll have a vendors table setup thursday night with several shafts with multiple patterns forsale.

Contest ends October 24th at 8pm Central Time

If someone guesses the exact amount the contest wins and that lucky winner takes the shaft. If no one guesses the amount, one who comes close to the total wins, if for some odd reason there is a tie, well I'll just give you both a shaft. Winner gets to pick the pattern he wants :mds: I'll even let you have 2 guesses, but your guess must be on your single post, multiple post will disqualify you.

These shafts retail for $135.00
Included with the shaft is:
Lower Rod ( with Coil bolt and rubber washers )
Aluminum Arm Cuff
Foam Rubber Hand Grip
Compass
5 Stainless Steel Thumb screws
Felt Padding for Arm Cuff

NEW CONTEST! 8-) Better brush up on your math skills!! :nerd: (63 replies)

Okay, here is the deal.. I have transformed those Civil War era oak floor boards into the three display cases you see here. The winner of the contest will get to choose one of the three cases, identified by the numbers shown, that they like the best.

The contest works like this. Using whatever clues you can find in photographs shown here and in the post on the relic and bottle forum, the first person to correctly guess the TOTAL LINEAR FOOTAGE of lumber used to build all three cases will win. Not square footage, not board footage, just plain old simple linear footage is what I am looking for. Please put your answers in feet and inches.

For example, if you determine that one case is 12 inches by 12 inches, then 4 linear feet would have been used to make that case. If you decide that the other cases are 14 inches by 7 inches that would be equivalent to 42 linear inches which equates to 3 ft 6 inches. So, 4' 0" + 3' 6" + 3' 6" = 11' 0" linear feet of lumber used.

Here are a few givens for you to use for scale in trying to make your determinations.

1. The hinges measure exactly 1 inch long
2. The catches are just shy of being an inch wide
3. The total depth of the cases is 2 3/4 inches including the lid
4. The number you are looking for is less than 20 linear feet and will not end in fractions of an inch. So, it won't be 28' 7 1/4", for example

At the end of the contest, provided there is no correct answer before hand, the person whose guess is the closest without running over, will be declared the winner.
Contest will end on Monday August 9, at 7:00pm

Have fun and good luck to all contestants!

Class dismissed!
