For the last category we have jewelry/misc. Paul Shilling found a nice quartz arrowhead. Don Nations found what amounted to a jewelry store! Rings rings and more rings and a chain too. The winner was Don Nations. Sorry no pics. of the finds yet but I think you can tell we have members braving heat stroke and the bugs to find interesting items to share with the rest of us at the meetings. So next month if you find anything of interest bring it in. You could win a prize. If you win single relic or single coin you get entered for find of the year. Come to the next meeting and join us. Next meeting is a business meeting and the last one before the show. Thanks

Ed W.....the most awesome person ever (6 replies)

:goodjob:I would just like to take a minute to recognize Ed W!!!:goodjob:

Short story: I was playing in the backyard yesterday with my dogs yesterday. My Great Dane was getting a little too excited, so I pushed him off of me. Next thing you know, when I pushed him off, my wedding ring came off and it was lost. I searched high and low and into the night and had no such luck. After renting a metal detector at Hobbytown today, I was told about a search and recovery group. I made contact with Ed T which put me in touch with Ed W. Ed W called and made arrangements to meet at my house. After doing some hunting, Ed W was able to recover my wedding ring!!!

He should be commended for his selflessness and willing to help someone at the drop of a hat without even knowing them.

:bow:I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!
