Did Stonewall Jackson cross Crooked Run or Robinson River on his way to Cedar Mountain? I read in the diaries that it was Crooked Run, yet the historical marker along the road says Robinson River...

Now available the "Supplement to the Official Records of the War of the Rebellion". Although, they are quite expensive, follow the link. I would like to take a look at these, just to see if there is some information that I didn't see in the regular OR's. But, based on the price, I don't guess I ever will. I contacted the company and they told me that they had no plans of converting this set to CD.

Anyone have any suggestions as far as Hunting dvd videos ?
Something technical would be preferred.
I'm really looking for video on beach hunting but other suggestions would also be great.

The only video that I've found recently that is worth anything would be
Real World Techniques: Inland Coin and Relic Hunting by Tom Dankowski.

If I could find a beach hunting video on the same level as this, life would be great.

The lectures are free and open to the public. No children under 10 years of age, please.

George Wunderlich, Director of the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD will speak on Civil War medicine and forensic issues of Civil War soldiers.

Saturday, June 20, 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Edward Robinson will speak about Crime Scene Investigation. A crime scene investigator (CSI) must be prepared to locate, package, and protect all the varieties of physical evidence within a crime scene. Robinson, a Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst and current Assistant Professor in the Forensic Science Department of the George Washington University will present an overview of what is really done by CSI. Forget those television shows and movies glamorizing “CSI duties!” As the old TV Detective, Jack Webb, said, “I want just the facts.” That is what you will get. Some material presented may not be appropriate for the young.

Anyone have any old hunting spots in the west of Pittsburgh area. On occasion I get up to Aliquippa to my in-laws and except for eating, there is just nothing to do but sit around and eat and stare at the walls (no replies)

I hunted in Arsenal Park downtown when I went to mortuary school there back in the 70's but I don't know if you can even hunt there anymore. I like old house sites or historical places, but beggars can't be choosers. Any help would be really appreciated and help keep my sanity when I'm there.

Did some research and read that General John H. Morgan was in a battle at Buffington Island Ohio. Looked at some maps and found the location. I am new to the hobby, and not sure of how to find out if they allow metal detecting. The location is close to the Ohio River. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks and happy hunting.
