We are currently offering a group room rate for the Tidewater Coin & Relic Club during the dates of May 18-May 20, 2012. This is a special group room rate, which is subject to room availability, and is not a block of rooms. Additionally, the rate is per night plus applicable taxes. The details are as follows:

It is our understanding that members will call in their reservations individually to the Cavalier Reservation line, which can be reached at 757-425-8555 or 800-446-8199. Please inform your guests to ask for the Tidewater Coin & Relic Club room rate in order to qualify for the special group rate.

This special group rate for rooms will be available until the cutoff date listed above, and is subject to room availability. Should you need any additional rooms after this date, they will also be subject to availability at the current prevailing rate. If you wish to hold any number of rooms past the cutoff date, please contact me directly at 757.425.8555, ext. 7060.

I may be on the last leg of returning a class ring I found earlier this year.. Everything is lining up except for the exact initials, and confirmation of the ring being lost/where if known. Unfortunately if it is the family I've tracked down, the lady has passed on, but her children are still around, as well as much of her family.

The initials may be wrong though, as the only person that had the last two initials for the year was this one lady. I really hope this is it, it's been rough trying to find contacts to help me out here.

On another note, my supervisor lost his ring in his yard when cleaning up after the NorEaster, so I got to go find that this weekend.

We will hold our hunt at the VA Beach oceanfront at 36th and Atlantic Ave. Registration begins at 8:00 AM and the hunts will start at 9:00 AM. My email address is sanddigger@charter.net

1-15-10 through 3-15-10 $105.00
3-16-10 through 4-15-10 $115.00
4-16-10 through day of hunt $130.00
Kid’s hunt 15.00

Raffles and prizes giveaway will follow shortly after last hunt. This hunt will be held rain or shine and NO REFUNDS will be given after 4-15-10. Please, no PI (pulse induction) machines allowed. One detector per person and do your own digging. Headphones are mandatory. Please fill holes and keep trash to be discarded. We assume no responsibility for injury or loss of equipment.
