14th Annual Happy Trails Hunt Information and date

The East Texas Treasure Hunters Association was founded in 1982 for persons interested in recreational treasure hunting, amateur archaeology and recovery and preservation of local historical artifacts as well as recovering lost or concealed items to local government agencies, historical societies and archaeologist. An active members oriented club focususing on member education and furthering our hobby as well as just plain fun.

Meeting at the Longview American Legion Hut on American Legion Road the second Monday of each month at 7 pm.

Our 14th Annual two day open hunt will be on Sat and Sunday March 7-8 at Rockin L Ranch (relocated) North of Longview

Hunt Schedule
Saturday March 7th
8-9 registration
9-9:30 Grand entry hunt for early bird registration
10-10:30 Lost Dutchman Mine Hunt
11-11:30 Wild "Bill" hunt
11:30-12:30 Lunch
12:30-2:00 Miss Kitty's Cake Auction
2-2:30 Good Bad And Ugly Hunt (over 50)
3-3:30 Fist Full of Dollars (mini main hunt)
4-4:30 Little doggie hunt (kids 12 and under)

Sunday March 8th
8-8:30 registration
8:30 - 9:00 Pony Express Hunt
9:30-10:00 Annie Oakley Hunt
10:30-11:00 Silversmith Hunt
11:10-11-:30 little doggie hunt #2
11:00-12:00 Lunch
12:15- 1:15 Wells Fargo Hunt (Main)

HUNT IS RAIN OR SHINE!

ALL PRIZES ARE SILVER COINS, SILVER ROUNDS, GOLD COINS, AND METAL DETECTORS.

Early bird registration is Feb !4th 2009

East Texas had lots of oil camps in the 1930 oil boom think this is one of them very few of them have hunted
