Sorry it took so long to post up my finds, i'm just now getting over a nasty sinus infection i got right before the hunt started. Those who i talked to heard me struggling to talk all week long 
.
The first 2 days went decent finding close to 50 bullets and some buttons. Towards the middle of Day 2 we finally found an area where we were getting lots of signs of pits being in the area. Came back on Day 3 to find some more! First pit was a bust, second pit started out with 2 deep bullets and some color. Opened it up and found the Ginger Beer bottle, Eagle buttons, bullets and lots of odds and ends. Oddly, I popped the bottle out just in time for the picnic...just like March of 2011 i found bottles right before the Brandy Rock picnic. I hope its a tradition that will carry on! I also to managed squeak out a beautiful Script I button with a Isaacs Campbell backmark.
Finally, my first DIV Confederate button! Thank you to John Frezza for the carpool duties, and to the rest of the crew it was great hunting together again. Enjoy the pics!
