Well, I know that I wrenched my back recovering it.by Tom In PA - Diggin' In Virginia
Rob, I found one just like it at site #2. I think I "lost" it in an iron pile near some water bottles..by Tom In PA - Diggin' In Virginia

My observations and personal experiences (subject to debate!): The 8" mono coil is probably the most used coil at DIV sites. Most of the regular Infinium attendees seem to do best with this coil. It is much lighter in weight than the stock 10" X14" and being smaller, deals with less red dirt. However, DD coils in general are considered better for dealing with the red dirt and iron separation.by Tom In PA - Diggin' In Virginia
Agree with Creskol on the miner tag. We're assuming that it's about the size of a 50 cent piece in diameter and pretty thin??by Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle

Nice recovery George- twice! It's hard to believe you have stuff/relics that you're not aware off!by Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle
I'm sure that you would get dozens that would be great. It might be harder to pick the title than the next participants list!by Tom In PA - Diggin' In Virginia
I'm not totally sure which image Hollywood is referring to, but I'm thinking that it was taken at DIV XXI. (Possibly with Steve Evans as one of the diggers in the scene)by Tom In PA - Diggin' In Virginia

Nice finds Tony. This may help a little with your bell. http://www.ukdfd.co.uk/pages/crotal-bells.html#Anchor-Th-55036by Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle
Nice assortment Evan. Relics are obviously where you find them!by Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle
I carry mine in its holster on my belt and have not had a problem with interference. The only interference i get is when I turn it on to use in the hole/dirt pile and my detector is laying too close to the hole. I've also glued on a piece of velcro to both the top of the pinpointer and a strip of it onto the holster. A 'quick flip' of the velcro strap secures it nicely.by Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle
Nice diggin Dan. I think that 1/4 real is the only one I've ever seen dug. Congrats!by Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle

Joe, Railroad related for sure. Here are 3 that I dug up here in PA. The AVRR stands for Allegheny Valley Rail Road which was formed in the 1850's. I always assumed it was luggage related, but maybe Reale Bill's comment of the milk can has merit. Maybe they delivered the milk cans by train and this is how they knew where to unload the can at the right train stop. The one's that I have, indicby Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle
Great find! I believe that there's another "I" waiting to be saved.by Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle
Nice ration can!by Tom In PA - Relic & Bottle
They will be the "New Age Diggers", and we'll be just long forgotten relics.by Tom In PA - Diggin' In Virginia
Guy, Not positive on this, but on past hunts only those who were picked, paid, and accounted for were allowed to be on the grounds. This would indicate that his name would have to be on the final list as a participant. Hope it works out for you.by Tom In PA - Diggin' In Virginia
That being said...my only guesses are: A small cigar, cigarette, & pipe ash scooper (found more around homes, trains, hotels, etc.). Or a simple snap-on lid for an odd shaped tin box. Now we can sleep soundly!by Tom In PA - Diggin' In Virginia
