I recently got back from my annual fall trip to Minnesota to hang out with my cousin Mike (Michelob here on the forum) and as usual we had a blast. This trip was a little different since we did not detect all day for a week straight. Instead, we spent the majority of our time fishing which was a lot of fun too. We did manage get get a couple part days in on the way up to and on the way back frby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's

Never had a chance to use it and now feel I won't need it after buying the new Minelab CTX 3030 soon. I am asking $525 shipped within CONUS only. I do accept and prefer Paypal. - 1 year agoMy cousin Mike (Michelob) decided to avoid the latest Minnesota blizzard by coming down to Missouri for a few days of detecting with me and Ray. We managed to get in 2 and a half days of hard detecting and road tripping checking out spots for his annual spring trip here in April. I won't give away what Michelob found because hopefully he will post here soon, but needless to say he ROCKED IT!!!by DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
Looks like you are learning that machine very well. Congrats!!by DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
- 1 year agoHad a chance to get out last week for a few hours before work for my first Civil War relic hunt of the year. Tim took me to a few of his spots so he could teach me about relics and so I could give him a few E-trac pointers. We had a great time digging up some large .69 cal minie balls. I even got a few other assorted bullets, a knapsack hook and my first ever Eagle button. The button is notby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's

- 1 year agoA REAL penny!! that is a cool find. I got one years ago but they ain't too common around these partsby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's

- 1 year agoWas able to get out a couple more times in January thanks to some good weather. Although the trip on 1/17 was extremely cold with single digits wind chill, the ground was still soft and I managed to pull out 3 mercs and 3 injuns. The next trip was a few days ago on 1/31. The day started out slow for me and it wasn't until about 2:30 that I found my first good coin. The next 4 hours was greatby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
That first one is always special! Congrats.by DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
Great assortment of digs there Pat, congrats!!!! I think I still like the half dime the best thoughby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
- 1 year agoThanks for the vote of confidence guys but it seems like they want "characters" more then good hunters. I feel I fall into the good hunter category much more than the characterby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
Those ae some nice digs Tim. I always love the variety of finds you make. Thanks for sharingby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
- 1 year agoGot out with Ray-mo for the first hunt of 2012 on Thursday with some beautiful weather. Nothing like detecting in January in just a short sleeve shirt. We hit a few spots we have pounded before but wanted to see if we could pull out a few more goodies from them before moving on to newer spots. I ended up with 4 silver... 2 Barber dimes, a Barber half, and a roosevelt dime along with a handfulby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
Quotepostsim Pat, you might be ahead of Bob [ in silver] for 2012! Enjoy...... Not quite, just haven't had time to post my finds But I'm definitely jealous of Pat's findby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
Such an awesome find Pat!! A big congrats...you deserve itby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
- 1 year agoDid a breakdown of my finds like I did in 2010 and figured I'd post it too, Again these are almost all from public spots in 2011. I did get some good hunt time in this year except for my "summer break" where I did not detect at all from 5/13 thru 9/14. I took off those 4 months because I hate detecting in hot weather. I guess it's better than last year though when I took off 5 months Here arby DrBobinMO - 417 Relic Hunter's
