Our meetings are held at Shooters restaurant and bar located at the intersection of I-39 and State Hiway 54 across from the Gulf station. Sir, Your inquisition points to me not making the proper effort to get in touch with you. I can assure you that I made an effort to reach you and still have not received a return email. But, the information that you just gave is all I needed to hopefully resolve the issue, if the batteries are not ruined. My 2 cents worth... I purchased a GS from Don and the head phone jack was loose. I contacted Doc directly and got no response. Of course Don exchanged it out for me. Don is a great guy and stands by whatever he sells, even if the manufacturer doesn't. Well, my batteries will only stay charged for 4-5 hours tops, due to the cheap charger .... Is that why my batteries dies after about 4 hours, even if I get a green light on the Charger? I leave them on the charger for over 24 hours and still get around 4 hours max.by donsports - Tools Of The Trade

You are comparing legitimate businesses that deal in military artifacts with a show that is a total fabrication! Most "legimate" dealers in artifacts don't wildly inflate the prices. My point is that the show portrays relic hunters as wheeling and dealing shady characters that are motivated ONLY by money. That will hurt those of us that still knock on doors to get permission AND it gives the "antby donsports - Relic & Bottle

I must disagree with you comparing the American Digger show to relic websites and relic shows. If anyone inflated prices like they do on the show, they wouldn't stay is business. Now, if you're comparing the show to the dishonest people doing business on Ebay, then you are spot on. To state that anyone who sells / buys and collects relics are as "guilty" as the people on the show of giving the hoby donsports - Relic & Bottle

I recently purchased a high end (big dollar) accessory from Don and had issues with it. When the manufactor was slow to offer a replacement, Don stepped in and did the right thing. He didn't have to, it was on the company that made it, but, he did it anyway. In this "money grab" world we live in, it is nice to know that there are honorable people like Don still doing business. Hi Jason, You will love the MXT. I used the SEF Butterfly for years, it's a great coil. It pinpoints super tight just in front of the rod (under the label on mine). I never used the stock coil, once I got the Butterfly.by donsports - Relic & Bottle

Took my GPX out for it's first voyage this weekend. The stories are true! I found four bullets in one hole at around 15"-17" of "Black Jack" soil. My MXT wouldn't read a bullet on top of the soil at the same spot. No problems with the red dirt either, still dug some nails while I learn the sounds, but, the good targets were unmistakable.
