Based on my experience, If digging all non-ferrus metals, the F-75 is a great, deep machine. But if you need to discriminate (parks etc.) I like the White's better.by nc-joe - Tools Of The Trade

Amazing job putting it all back together. I walked with you from your pit the truck on day 3, it was quite the pile the rubble then.by nc-joe - Diggin' In Virginia
Nice finds, it's the thrill of the hunt. I regret not digging the hut I found. Recovered an eagle coat, eagle cuff and a blanket grommet and a piece of broken glass in the same hole. I WILL dig a hut next time.by nc-joe - Diggin' In Virginia

I use the TDI Pro with a Razerback 14" Mono coil. First and MOST IMPORTANT, run your coil wire straight up the shaft 18" before you wrap it around the shaft. By doing the above, I run gain at 9-9 1/2, timing slightly above 10 (not past the 9 o'clock position), GB ON and course/fine adjusted frequently as needed. A DD has the "sending" coil on the outside coil and the "receiving coil" is a straight line down the middle. A Mono sends and receives from the same coil ring by sending a "pulse" signal. With the SEF the left side "sends" the signal and the right side "receives" the sigby nc-joe - Diggin' In Virginia

But typically the Minelabs find a spot and stay. They are going so deep, they generally don't cover a lot of ground (horizontally anyway) because, they don't have too. They are slow and percise.by nc-joe - Diggin' In Virginia
Tony, I still have the DX-1 probe available. I am keeping my lower shafts because I have the tall man shafts and I can use them on my TDI. Plus, they are so inexpensive new that I would have to give them away to cover shipping due to their length.by nc-joe - Buy / Sale / Trade
