Hi, I am new to relic hunting and I know that allot of you guys and gals might have some old sites that you have pounded to death. The question is are you willing to share those resources with an armature relic hunter? I know that you have a lot of time invested and if you don't want to share I understand. But you can't blame a guy for trying! Right! Good Luck Hunting! DiggerDanVaby diggerdanVa - Diggin' In Virginia
A preservation Group has started buying the land and has two parcels where the Trevillians Station took place so you have to be careful not to get on those two parcels of land.by diggerdanVa - Research & Maps
Hi tennispsychologist, Are you still giving permission to hunt the area near the Turner road and Darbytown road area? Or maybe we could get together and hunt that area!by diggerdanVa - Detecting & Finds
Hi, I have just started hunting some of the area around Trevillians Station. I got my first bullet, a round ball. I guess everybody has to start somewhere and I'm proud of my round ball. DiggerDanVaby diggerdanVa - Research & Maps

Hi Martin, I know what you mean. I am a beginer also, I live in Louisa County and it's not easy finding places to hunt. Most of the older hunters are a little wary of letting you in on places to hunt. But don't give up, you will find places sooner or later.by diggerdanVa - Detecting & Finds
How do you know where to go for the coinshootin. I wish I could be so lucky! Congrats, DiggerDanby diggerdanVa - Detecting & Finds
Thanks ringfinder, I have already been using this to relic hunt and have had some luck. I was just wanting some help on trying to work in these "Hot" ground areas. Thanks for the website, I'm sure that this will help. Happy Hunting, DiggerDanby diggerdanVa - Diggin' In Virginia
Hi Fellow Relic Hinters, I own a Fisher 1266X metal detector and sometimes I get on what I call "Hot" ground and the detector picks up a lot of static and makes it hard to read when you get a hit or not. Is there something that I can do to my detector to help me when I get in this situation? Can I adjust the settings a certain way or something? This detector is a pretty simple turn on and go tyby diggerdanVa - Diggin' In Virginia
Hi fellow relic hunters, I own a Fisher 1266X metal detector and sometimes I get into places that I call "Hot" ground and pick up a lot of static. What can I do to fix this problem? Is there something that I can do to the settings on the detector? This detector has limited settings, it is kind of a turn on and go metal detector. But there should be something that I can do to keep hunting with thiby diggerdanVa - The Good Stuff
