Besides having a great time hunting with my buddies Scott, Bill, and Jeff for three days,I had one of those hunts where everything went right! When we got to the first hill in the back we were the first four guys there before the masses came later. About the second good signal 45 minutes into the hunt I pop a confederate frame fork buckle and just freaked out! Ten minutes later I find a trashby GregB - Diggin' In Virginia
That is a great button for sure and I know you and Greg should have done more than high fives I think you should have been dancing a jig! I guess when you find a great find right off it is hard to beat it, I would have been ruined from that point and would have kept stop hunting and been looking at it but that is a great problem to have, great job! Mt Man you are DUE you are next!by GregB - Relic & Bottle
new 5000 pretty good. Tried to catch up with after the hunt but you are harder to pin down than a greased up pig. You did great hope to talk to you soon! Gregby GregB - Diggin' In Virginia
I guess Earl should be digging one for him and one for you until you get back to the field don't you think? Isn't that what friends are for! Hope you are doing okay! Gregby GregB - Relic & Bottle
All I can say is thank you again, again, again, but I am not sure if that is how I reacted I must have blacked out or something but if you say I did all that I guess I can not deny it. As the invite goes anytime and next time it is your turn. I dont think I can handle much more excitement than that day but you never know what the next signal might be!!by GregB - Relic & Bottle

Well I should say two nuts!!! I want to start by thanking Earl K for a great afternoon hunt on Sunday. I have to say I am not good on posting pictures but this is the best I could do for now. The picture does not do the "I" button justice it is solid! Two great confederate buttons in one day. He told me months ago about a place he could take me for the chance of some great relics but I would hby GregB - Relic & Bottle

He loved the history of the Civil War more than anybody I knew, and like all of us loved to recover relics. I knew his dad thirty some years ago when he was my dentist first and a friend for all of the years after. His dad got Scott into rby GregB - Diggin' In Virginia

I worked hard for two days chasing the dream of getting a bottle but it was not meant to be for me, but I found a lot of relics and saw amazing finds all around me. If I did not dig one myself I sure was glad to be there to see the great bottles coming out of the ground. Had a great time trying are luck with Earl Tony and myself, we dug one pit deep enough to put all of us in the hole we got aby GregB - Diggin' In Virginia
