 | The Middle Tennessee Treasure Hunters Club was founded in 1971 by a small group of metal-detector enthusiasts. In 1983 the club changed its name to the Middle Tennessee Historical Research Association (MTHRA) in order to reflect the broader historical interests of many club members. We have now come full circle and in October of 1999 we changed our name to Middle Tennessee Metal Detecting Club. We realized that although many of our members do have historical research interests the name often confused folks who couldn't understand our primary purpose. Our club now has well over 100 members and is growing monthly in members who share our interests.

After a little more research, this might be a Dodge Car Badge, put on Dodge cars no later than 1938, and probably closer to 1912-1914. The attached picture is pretty close, and is from 1938. That would certainly account for the letters "DB" (for Dodge Brothers) in the center. Thanks for all the responses!!by csbutton - Relic & Bottle

Does anyone know what this is? It was found at an 1834 house site in central Louisiana. It appears to be a badge or token consisting of an outer ring with an inner six-pointed star formed by to inverted interlocking triangles. The capitol letters DB are centered on a lined field. Fisher 1265X with stock 8” coil and cover, in excellent operating and fair cosmetic condition. Battery holders are brand new. I am the original owner. This machine works like new but has a few minor scuffs from finding over 1000 bullets, buttons, and belt plates...still hits them hard as ever!
