All funds from entry fees are used to purchase silver and gold coins. Prizes are donated by businesses and the sponsoring clubs. One fun hunt and two silver and gold hunts per day. Silver and tokens planted in the hunt field. Tokens are exchanged for prizes which includes gold goins, silver rounds, metal detectors, etc. There will be a kids hunt Saturday afternoon for those under 12 years of age who are not entered into the regular hunt. Prizes for the kids.

The hunt is a not for profit hunt.

Hello All, I am taking a break from relic hunting for a while and can not justify keeping this detector around, It is a used GPX 5000,I purchased used last year and used it at the last 2 DIV's. Its a great machine and works perfectly. When I recieved it all the coils where new and the battery was about 6 months old. I only ever used the round DD coil so it has some scratches on bottom. also

Cannon Coil 18 inch for TDI +++SOLD PENDING - 3 months ago

Civil War Reenacting Wall Tent FS/FT delivered to DIV - 3 months ago

I just purchases a group of Civil War reenacting items. I have for sale or trade a Panther Primitives civil war style officers wall tent. The size is about 10'x11' I was told. Pictured are my finds from the hunt, mostly fired bullets which leads me to my question. Most of the fired bullets where found accross the road near the far parking area. I think I may have asked this before but I am still unsure. Especially since I will be using the GPX this time. When using headphones, should the volume be adjusted with the headphones, or thru the detector. And what about the aftermarket amplifiers. I am thinking I should have headphones wide open, adjust threshold and volume on control box. Thank you Jim

Hello, Yes it does have the switch box and bracket to hold the box onto the machine shaft. I do not have a bracket to hold probe to the shaft. Thanks Jim

I am selling my TDI, it has only been used at 9 DIV events. It is in very good condition, has some scratches and dirty in places. Comes with 2 batteries, a new this spring, battery charger, and a coil tec inline probe. Will also throw in a Cannon 18 inch coil, used a few hours. Price is $750.00 shipping included. Thanks John and Rose and all committee members for another outstanding week of relic hunting. After years of trying for my first buckle it finally happened the last day. Have to admit I was getting a little down not ever finding one and seeing all the great relics being saved. DIV XX first photo and DIV XXI with the buckle. Thanks again to everyone. Jim
