YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT A DIRT LOT WILL GIVE UP - 5 years agoSaturday morning David(White Oak)..Donnie and myself met up to do a little Dirt Fishing We have been watching this 100 yr old plus building for a few weeks and it was now down to the dirt........Not much found in the 1st hour then I found this This small find gave us some hope...then this came out of the ground.... Now we talking........The next item found was.........GUESS I HAD BETby Jim - Relic & Bottle
- 5 years agoSunday morning..Donnie....David( White Oak) and I went a hunting in Louisiana..Three hours later we get to where we want to hunt and find they have fenced it off to put cattle in this spot....Damn the luck...hunt next to that spot for awhile with not much luck and move on to another spot...started out slow and then we found a home site in the middle of the field...here is my finds for the day...by Jim - Relic & Bottle

Donnie (forum owner) David -White Oak and myself left for Louisiana Saturday..Now for you that do not know that is the closest Civil War hunt sites we got about a 250 mile drive .Anway we got to the field we were going to hunt and you could hear our hearts drop for the corn was cut and grass and corn left over was growing in the field..We tried for several hours to hunt this mess ..I think I fby Jim - Relic & Bottle

- 6 years agomine is a Marine Door Gunner that was shot down in Laos..He was on his second tour of duty...Name David Gonzales..I have all the details but it does not matter....These guys saved my ass more than I care to remember...No better sound than a Gun Ship comming or a Cobra in a nose dive mini guns blareing.....Folks like David ..Mad Dog and thousands of others that did not come home..What ever war tby Jim - Diggin' In Virginia

Found in a wooded area This the front Now this is the back Then I dropped it while takeing pictures of it and the back came off and this is what was inside The marking on the front are the key to what it is but I have no CLUE It is Gold Plated and all I did was blow the dirt off and take these pictures Thanks for looking Jimby Jim - Detecting & Finds

Best find the first day I hunted this site Found this lock the first day also Woops on the dig ding Found this spoon handle on the second try at this house Sure wish I could have found it all Can anyone tell me who made it by the marks on the back of the spoon I do not have a book to look up the markings The sad part about this lot is there has been no silver coins or old coins found tby Jim - Detecting & Finds
