Yesterday's digging - 3 days ago
Mike called me the other day about digging for a few hours yesterday morning and I'm so glad he did! Thanks again Mike! The second hole of the day was this beautiful block I button. It was quickly followed by the early artillery cuff button, which reads "CORP" on the bottom. Lots of melted lead and round balls kept coming out, and then got two early one piece eagle buttons in quick succession. Onby cumberlandgray - Relic & Bottle

Colonial Finds - God showed up - 6 days ago
Yesterday I decided to brave the heat and tics and do some Colonial relic hunting near my home. I got going out in the fields and realized it had been a while since I'd dug a good coin there...so I prayed for Colonial silver. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED: Colonial silver! ...and got a sweet Va coat button! The back mark is W.H. Smith & Co. New York. I'd already hunted that area of the yard some already, which makes me wonder what else I've left in the rest of this very expansive yard!
