The purpose of the North Georgia Relic Hunters Association (NGRHA) is to further the enjoyment of responsibly collecting Civil War relics, old bottles and coins as well as other items from years gone by. The NGRHA is dedicated to preserving Georgia history through responsible excavation.

The North Georgia Relic Hunter's Association was formed in 1972 in partnership with the City of Marietta Department of Parks and Recreation. The association has over 120 members from all walks of life.

Meetings are open to the public and are held the first and third Tuesday of each month, 7:30 p.m., at the FOP Lodge (2350 Austell Road, Marietta, GA 30008). This is on the corner of Austell Rd and Wanda Circle.

When is this years club banquet scheduled, Oh wait it allready happened (November 8). This website is a waste of club resources if no one is willing to update it! Is there a chrismas thing happening this year? This information should be posted 12 (or at least 6) months in advnace not the week before!!!!!!!!!!! Or in the example of the club banquet for thanksgiving NOT AT ALL !!!!

My Great Grandfather, William Dudley Bailey, was mustered into the 48th Virginia Infantry CSA, on June 20, 1861. The 48th Virginia was assigned to the Second Brigade, Jackson's Division, Jackson's Corp., Army of Northern Virginia on May 20, 1862. Wounded (shot) May 1, 1863 - The Battle of Chancellorsville.
