1700's to early 1800's house in Virginia

I have only metal detected in the past but have an opportunity to have access to a property that dates back to 1790.
House is located in Virginia. W/in an hours drive of Wash. DC I'm looking for advice on how to locate the trash site; bottle
dump and privy. I assume that as a rule privy are located likely from the rear entrance to a property ? The house on it now was built in the 1990's
I need to find out if its on the stone foundation. Suggestions or advice for GPR rental in DC area. They have about 10 acres of property.
There are still several out buildings on property also. Was told quakers/memnnonites/amish or other religious type family previously owned property. Would they have
dealt in money ( coins ) associated with outsiders ? TIA

Thanks
DAN
