Anyone that used an Nox 800 at Brandy Rock... Could you post your setting you used and how you did with this machine.

Thanks,

Donnie

I used my Equinox 600 for about 2-3 hours at Brandy Rock. Dug a few bullets at 6 inches or less using Field 2, recovery 3, iron bias 0, 5 tones. It was OK in open areas away from iron but once I got into iron infested areas is was much harder for me to tell the good targets from the bad. You just can't scrutinize targets that well in that soil with junk present. Maybe the 800 would be better as there are more adjustments you can make with it, it would also help if they made a 9 inch coil so you're not seeing as much ground.

In the iron infested areas I mostly used my Deus with the 9 inch HF coil and it did much better at separating targets. In fact most of my finds (including a breast plate) at Brandy Rock were with the Deus. The GPX was a close second.
