What a time was had by 135 hard core relic hunters...
April 09, 2018 12:07PM
I didn't see any long faces at this hunt! You folks worked hard to recover some history from good ole Coles Hill. Here's a couple aerial drone photos supplied by our committee member Ed Vest. There was an overflow table not shown.

"The major difference between the most and least successful person is the latter's lack of awareness. Successful people are critical of their own performance. Unsuccessful people are critical of the performance of others."

Will Rogers once said "There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves."

Man what a hunt. I have been to every hunt at Coles Hill and the finds and deep pits haven't slowed down yet. I dug my share of relics at this hunt and saw many incredible relics found and saved. Sure hope we get to go to the hill again.

Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome to my first DIV! I still can’t believe I was able to pull so much out of a site that’s been detected a few times before.
Thanks again John & Rose, hope to see you in the fall.
Thanks John and Rose...

Coles Hill is a special and challenging site. A lot of secrets still there. Appreciate you giving us the chance to save some more history.
