Every bottle and pipe in these two cases
was dug either in a Civil War hut, fire pit or trash pit. I dug these in Union camps in Stafford and Culpeper Counties including a few from past DIV’s. Pits are not as easy to find as they once were but they are still out there. Best of luck to everyone and I’ll see ya in a couple weeks !!!!!

Here are a few more pics from my office ( don’t mind the mess, it is under construction). This shows how I am setting up my bottle displays, the relic displays will fill remaining space later. The close up pics are of some better (mostly pre 1870) bottles. A dug quite a few of them myself but bought others I liked to add to the collection.

Here is some more early glass but I dug these in housesites and privies. Most of these are 1865 or earlier. Again best of luck to everyone in the upcoming DIV’s.
