Need a little help to ID a DIV find
April 12, 2019 08:34AM
This was my first DIV and my first time hunting Civil War relics. I did pretty good, found the base of a3” Parrott shell and only five bullets but they were all different! Thanks to the internet I was able to identify 4 of them but what I thought was a .52 caliber Sharps variant actually is .54 caliber. Any idea what it is? Thanks!

sorry ment to type "Squeeze" LOL

Sharps were made in a number of different calibers.

Oh, didn’t know that. Learn something new every day with metal detecting. That’s one of the things I like about this hobby.

But I thought all Sharps are .52 caliber and this is definitely .54 caliber.
